Trinity Gates has a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, a minor in Fashion Merchandising, and a Public Affairs Certificate in Applied Politics from the University of Georgia.
Before graduating in May of 2023, I interned at the Georgia Museum of Art as a PR Intern. I also functioned as a Content Director with Strike Magazine Athens and as a blog writer for Rouge Magazine. As a Content Director, I planned and designed two photoshoots per issue finalizing all logistics and aesthetics on every level including photography, styling, and beauty, I led a team of 5-10 people per shoot and took charge of organizing our team's individual budget and branding as part of Strike Athens.
I am pursuing a career in fashion communications and visual editorial work, I hope to land in London and work heavily in the international fashion community. I enjoy working and learning in runway, editorial, menswear, craftsman, and sustainability sects within the fashion community. I have particular knowledge and admiration for transatlantic cultural diffusion as I grew up significantly overseas. I enjoy creating and learning about how to protect cultural identities and also blend cultures in this age of globalization and ultra-consumerism, especially as we see new ideals like the ‘New Britain’ come forth in major fashion houses, in particular, I like to creatively conceptualize how this era of fashion and globalization can relate to transatlantic markets and also how it can celebrate and truly reflect a changing demographic and ideals.
I concluded my role as a Public Relations Assistant Manager in the Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Communications at the end of January 2024. I am currently looking for a full-time position and freelance work, feel free to email or text me if you would like to explore what I can bring to your team, I love travel and am looking to relocate so I am open to all opportunities right now. I am currently a gallery assistant at JRNY Gallery as an assistant I am functioning as the lead curator, spearheading a new social media strategy for the gallery and working heavily in events and event production.
